The Ultimate Pro Van Contest
Client: Behr Paint / KILZ
Agency: Arcana Academy
Role: Art Direction, Design, Production Oversight
Type: Integrated Campaign
A five-year campaign built to scale.
The Ultimate Pro Van Contest started as a single sweepstakes and grew into an annual tentpole. Across multiple cycles, I owned the design system and the production output across social, digital, print, motion, and the van wrap, keeping the campaign consistent while evolving the look year to year.

2021-2023:
Omni-Channel Output
Early cycles were about scale and precision. I translated the core concept into a repeatable system and delivered production-ready assets across every channel.
What I owned:
• Van wrap design + logo/lockup versions
• Social, display, and web banner suites
• Print ads and one-sheets
• Motion assets and rollout variations
• Production cleanup and spec-ready exports

2024-2025:
Creative Ownership & Direction
Later cycles moved beyond execution. I helped shape the yearly approach while tightening the system and rollout strategy.
What changed:
• Stronger layout rules and hierarchy
• Cleaner, more premium visual behavior
• More cohesive social rollout and asset planning
My role:
• Campaign layout direction and asset architecture
• On-set art direction support for photo/video capture
• Motion behavior guidance to keep everything consistent

System Evolution: From Activation to Tradition
The contest became a recognizable annual program, and the design system matured with it. My work focused on making the campaign feel more premium and more consistent across touchpoints while staying flexible enough to refresh each year.
Key Outcome:
12% increase in qualified leads + record engagement.
