Global Brand Standards & Merchandising Systems
Client: Epic Rights (KISS, Jimi Hendrix, Britney Spears)
Role: Art Direction, System Governance, Identity Design
Agency: Arcana Academy
Working with Epic Rights, we were tasked with architecting the visual governance for some of the most recognizable legacies in music history. The challenge was to transform decades of disparate photography, logos, and cultural milestones into rigorous, high-fidelity brand books. We translated these assets into a "single source of truth" for global merchandising partners, ensuring brand equity remained protected across all retail touchpoints.

KISS
World Tour Launch & Brand Guide
I was part of the core team that developed the visual identity for KISS’s final global tour launch. This system anchored the high-profile announcement in Times Square and governed the initial merchandise rollout. Seeing the mark transition from a vector file to a physical jacket sold worldwide—and a digital takeover of NYC—verified the system's impact.

Logo Design: Engineered for extreme scalability—maintaining legibility on massive digital displays and embroidery.

My specific poster design was selected as the primary global tour T-shirt (Left), while Jay Josue's high-contrast comic-book style was adapted for the limited-run denim jacket (Right).

50th Anniversary Brand Book: A definitive production guide translating five decades of accolades, costumes, and legacy assets into a functional merchandising engine for global partners.
Jimi Hendrix
Biographical Architecture & Merchandising
For the Hendrix estate, the challenge was to move beyond a traditional style guide toward a Biographical Design Engine. We architected a system that translates the artist’s historic accolades and life milestones into high-fidelity design assets. This toolkit builds the "Hendrix Story" through curated data and imagery, providing global licensing partners with a rigorous roadmap for consistent, narrative-driven apparel and lifestyle collections.

Developed a comprehensive merchandising guide that leverages historical context and commercial accolades to drive partner sell-in and product authenticity.
Britney Spears
Identity Development
Collaborative Identity Development:
We established a versatile visual language for Britney Spears’ global retail expansion. The core challenge was architecting a rigorous design system that ensured brand consistency across a vast category mix—including sportswear, makeup, jewelry, and home goods. While the final wordmark was a collaborative agency effort, the governance model ensured the "Pop-Premium" aesthetic remained protected across all licensing touchpoints.
